Add a watermark to a video

Put your name, handle, website or logo on your videos before you share them. Choose text or a logo image (a PNG with transparency works best), its size, opacity and corner, or repeat it diagonally across the whole picture so it's hard to crop out. Add several videos to mark them all the same way.

Private: your files never leave your device.

How to use Watermark video

  1. Step 1: Add one or more videos.

  2. Step 2: Type the text or choose a logo, then set the size, opacity and position.

  3. Step 3: Press Start and download the watermarked MP4 files.

A watermark that protects without distracting

A small mark in a corner at 40–60% opacity is easy to read and doesn't distract from the video, but it can be cropped out. A repeated diagonal pattern is much harder to remove and suits previews you send to clients before payment.

Social apps put their own buttons and captions at the bottom and right of vertical videos, so a top corner is usually safer for Reels and TikTok. Use the same settings in Watermark image so your photos and videos carry the same mark.

Frequently asked questions

Can the watermark be removed afterwards?

Not easily. It's burned into every frame. A small corner mark can still be cropped away; the repeated pattern is much harder to remove.

Is it the same as the image watermark tool?

Yes, the same options. Use Watermark image for photos and this tool for videos to keep your mark consistent.

Does it lower the quality?

The video is re-encoded at high quality (H.264, CRF 20), which looks the same in practice. The sound is kept.

Are my videos uploaded?

No. They are processed in your browser.
