Your files stay on your device
Every Toola tool processes files locally in your web browser. Files you open in Toola are never uploaded to our servers or sent to third parties. When you close the tab, the data is gone.
What your browser downloads
Some tools need a processing engine, downloaded to your device the first time you use them and then cached: the ffmpeg.wasm video engine and the transformers.js AI library come from the jsDelivr CDN, and the background-removal model comes from Hugging Face. The currency converter loads the official exchange rates from the National Bank of Georgia. These are downloads only — your files are never sent anywhere.
Your location
The golden hour tool can use your location if you allow it, to show sun times for where you are. It’s used only on your device to do the calculation and is never sent or stored.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not track you across websites. It never sees the contents of your files.
Advertising and cookies
Toola is free because it shows ads, served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first and can change your choice at any time via the privacy link on the consent message. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads never see the files you work on — they stay on your device.
Local preferences
We store your theme choice (light or dark) in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
