Merge videos into one

Put clips one after another: parts of a trip, takes from a phone, or a recording that was split into pieces. Drag them into order and press Start. Clips from the same camera are joined in seconds without touching the quality. Clips of different sizes or formats are converted to one shape and frame rate, with black bars or a crop, as you choose.

Private: your files never leave your device.

How to use Merge videos

  1. Step 1: Add two or more videos.

  2. Step 2: Put them in order and choose the shape of the result.

  3. Step 3: Press Start and download merged.mp4.

Fast join or full conversion

Toola checks the clips first. If they share the same codec, size and frame rate, as clips from one phone or camera usually do, they are joined as they are: the result is ready in seconds and keeps the original quality.

Otherwise every clip is converted to one size and frame rate, so the result plays smoothly everywhere. That takes about as long as the clips play. To speed it up, trim unwanted parts before merging.

After merging you can put one soundtrack over the whole video with Add audio to video, or make the file smaller to send with Compress video.

Frequently asked questions

Why was it so fast?

When every clip has the same codec, size and frame rate (for example, all from the same phone), the clips are joined as they are, without re-encoding. That takes seconds and keeps the original quality.

Can I merge a vertical and a horizontal video?

Yes. Choose the shape of the result; clips of another shape get black bars (Fit) or are cropped to fill the frame (Fill).

What if one clip has no sound?

Silence is added for that clip, so the sound stays in sync for the others.

Is there a size limit?

Each file can be up to 2 GB. The result is limited to 1920 pixels on the long side when clips are converted, to fit in the browser's memory.

Are my videos uploaded?

No. They are joined in your browser.
