Is this a tax invoice (ანგარიშ-ფაქტურა)?
No. It makes a payment invoice: a document asking the customer to pay. VAT-registered businesses in Georgia issue electronic tax invoices through the Revenue Service portal (rs.ge) for taxable B2B sales, and this tool does not do that. Ask your accountant which document you need.
How is VAT calculated?
Choose no VAT, VAT added to your prices, or VAT included in them. The rate starts at Georgia’s 18% and can be changed. Everything is calculated in tetri (whole cents), so the lines always add up to the total.
How is the amount in words written?
In the invoice language: Georgian (for example “ას ოცდახუთი ლარი და ორმოცდაათი თეთრი”) or English, using lari and tetri, dollars and cents, or euros and cents.
Is my information saved or uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded. Your business details, logo and settings are remembered only in this browser so the next invoice starts filled in. The customer and the items are not stored.
Why does the PDF say GEL instead of ₾?
The invoice shows the currency code, which every bank and accountant reads the same way.
