Remove EXIF data and location from photos

Photos from phones hide extra data: the GPS location where they were taken, the date, and your camera model. Remove it before you share or sell online. Toola strips metadata without re-compressing, so image quality stays exactly the same, and it shows you what it found.

Private: your files never leave your device.

How to use Remove EXIF data

  1. Step 1: Add your JPG, PNG or WebP photos.

  2. Step 2: Press Start — Toola lists the hidden data it removed from each file.

  3. Step 3: Download the clean photos individually or as a zip.

Frequently asked questions

What is EXIF data?

Information your camera or phone stores inside the photo: GPS coordinates, date and time, camera make and model, lens and settings, and sometimes the software used.

Will removing it lower the quality?

No. Only the metadata blocks are removed; the image data is copied byte for byte.

Will my photo turn sideways?

No. If a photo relies on the orientation flag to display upright, Toola keeps just that one flag.

Do social networks remove it anyway?

Many do, but email, messaging apps, cloud links and marketplaces often keep it. Removing it yourself is the safe choice.
