4 × 10×15 → A4

Print several photos on one page

Printing photos one per sheet wastes paper and ink. Add your photos, choose a real print size such as 10 × 15 cm, 13 × 18 cm, 4 × 6 in or wallet size, or simply how many should fit on a page, and Toola arranges them on A4 or Letter with thin cut lines. Photos are cropped to fill each frame or shown whole, turned to fit, and you can print several copies of the same picture. You get a PDF that prints at exactly those sizes.

Private: your files never leave your device.

How to use Print photos on one page

  1. Step 1: Add your photos and set how many copies of each you need.

  2. Step 2: Choose a photo size (10 × 15 cm, 4 × 6 in, wallet…) or a number of photos per page.

  3. Step 3: Download the PDF, print it at “Actual size” / 100% and cut along the lines.

How many photos fit on one sheet

With a 5 mm margin and a 2 mm gap, Toola fits this many photos on one sheet, turning the page whichever way holds the most:

Photo sizeA4 (21 × 29.7 cm)Letter (8.5 × 11 in)
13 × 18 cm22
10 × 15 cm22
4 × 6 in (10.2 × 15.2 cm)22
9 × 13 cm44
6 × 9 cm99
Wallet, 2.5 × 3.5 in98

With the gap at 0 mm the cut lines are the only border between photos; on Letter that fits 9 wallet photos instead of 8.

Getting good prints at home

  • Use photo paper and choose the photo or glossy paper type in the print dialog: the printer then uses more ink and a slower, finer pass.
  • Print at “Actual size” or 100%. “Fit to page” shrinks the photos by a few percent.
  • Toola warns about photos with less than 150 pixels per inch at the chosen size: they will look soft, especially with “Fill”, which crops.
  • Cut with a ruler and a sharp knife, or a paper trimmer, along the light grey lines.

For one picture at an exact non-standard size, use Print at exact size; for passport and ID photos, the Passport photo maker.

Frequently asked questions

Will the photos print at exactly 10 × 15 cm?

Yes, if the print dialog is set to “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”. “Fit to page” shrinks everything slightly. Check one photo with a ruler after the first print.

How many photos fit on an A4 sheet?

Toola picks the orientation that fits the most: for example 2 of 10 × 15 cm or 13 × 18 cm, 4 of 9 × 13 cm, or 9 of 6 × 9 cm. The count is shown before you download.

What is the difference between “Fill” and “Whole photo”?

Fill crops the edges so the photo covers the whole frame, like a print from a photo lab. Whole photo keeps every part of the picture and leaves a thin white strip where the shapes differ.

Can I print passport photos this way?

For passport and visa photos use the Passport photo maker: it crops the face to each country’s rules and lays out the copies.

Are my photos uploaded?
