.SRT → GPX
DJI SRT flight log to GPX, KML and CSV
Every DJI video can come with an .SRT “subtitle” file that logs GPS position, height and camera settings for every frame. Drop it here to see the flight path and altitude profile, get distance, height and speed stats, and export the track as GPX (for maps and editors), KML (Google Earth) or CSV (spreadsheets). Works with Mini, Air, Mavic, Avata and Phantom files.
Private: your files never leave your device.
DJI drones save an .SRT file next to each video (turn on “Video Caption” in the camera settings).
How to use DJI flight log to GPX
Step 1: Turn on “Video Caption” in your DJI camera settings, then copy the .SRT file that sits next to the video.
Step 2: Drop the .SRT file here to see the path, height and flight stats.
Step 3: Choose how many points to keep and download GPX, KML or CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the .SRT file?
On the drone’s SD card, next to each video with the same name (e.g. DJI_0001.MP4 and DJI_0001.SRT). If it’s missing, enable “Video Caption” (sometimes called “Video Subtitles”) in the camera settings before filming.
Which drones are supported?
DJI drones that record SRT captions: Mini 2/3/4, Air 2/2S/3, Mavic 2/3, Avata, FPV and Phantom 4, including the older “GPS(…) BAROMETER” format.
Is my flight location sent anywhere?
No. The file is read in your browser and the track is drawn without loading any online map. Map links open only if you click them.
Why is the altitude “above take-off”?
DJI logs relative height from the take-off point. Newer models also log absolute altitude above sea level, which Toola uses in GPX and KML when available.
