Add 360° metadata to a panorama

Edited a panorama and now Facebook shows it as a flat picture? Photo editors often strip the hidden 360° (GPano) metadata. Add it back here — for full 2:1 spheres or partial panoramas such as 180° shots and drone spheres missing their sky — without re-compressing the photo. You can also remove it to post a panorama as a normal photo.

Private: your files never leave your device.

How to use 360° metadata fixer

  1. Step 1: Add your panorama JPGs.

  2. Step 2: Choose full 360° sphere, partial panorama (with its angle) or remove.

  3. Step 3: Press Start and upload the new file to Facebook or Google Photos.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn’t Facebook show my panorama as 360°?

Facebook looks for “GPano” XMP metadata. Many editors (and some exports) drop it. Adding it back makes the post interactive again.

Does this change the image?

No. Only the metadata is written; the image data is copied as is.

What about a drone sphere without sky?

Choose “Partial panorama”, 360° horizontal angle and “Ground only”, or fill the sky with the panorama stitcher.
