Frequently asked questions
What interval should I use?
Fast clouds and traffic: 1–3 s. Sunsets: 3–5 s. Slow-moving shadows and building sites: 10 s or more.
How long should the final clip be?
For social media, 5–15 seconds per scene is plenty; longer timelapses work in films and presentations.
How does DJI Hyperlapse fit in?
DJI hyperlapse shoots at a 2-second interval by default. With 25 fps playback, 2 s × 25 = 50× speed-up.
