Frequently asked questions

What contrast do I need for accessible text?

WCAG AA asks for at least 4.5:1 for normal text (3:1 for large text); AAA asks for 7:1. Toola shows both results for white and black backgrounds.

Can I pick a colour from my screen?

Yes, in Chrome, Edge and Opera on desktop, using the “Pick from screen” button. In other browsers, upload a screenshot and click the pixel.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image is opened in your browser only to read pixel colours.
